Hi, I’m Jassy

Last week my son held my hand crossing the road, the same way he’s done a thousand times, and out of nowhere I felt my throat tighten. He won’t do that forever. One of these days is the last day, and I won’t even know it’s happening.

That feeling is the whole reason I do this work. I’m a mother before I’m a photographer, and I know exactly what it is to want to hold onto something you can already feel slipping away. When I photograph your family, I’m not looking for the perfect smile. I’m looking for that same thing, the moment you’ll want back someday, so you can keep it forever.

When I’m not working, I’m home at our farm with my own kids, probably running behind schedule, coffee gone cold, and utterly in love with the chaos of it all.

I can’t wait to meet your growing family!
