CAPTURING THE MOMENTS YOU’LL LONG FOR
what to expect
The Maternity Experience
You’ve spent these last months tired in a way you didn’t expect, eager for a face you haven’t met yet, nervous about all of it — and in the middle of all that waiting, it’s easy to forget to see yourself. My job isn’t just to document this moment. It’s to make sure you see yourself how everyone else sees you — beautiful and radiant, as you grow this new little life inside you.
I know it’s not easy to feel comfortable in front of a camera at nine months. So we don’t start there. Every session begins with a conversation first — time for us to get to know each other before I ever pick up a camera.
Once we’ve found the right window — usually somewhere between 28 and 34 weeks — we’ll choose a setting that feels like you: your home, the golden light of a favorite field, or somewhere on the water. I arrive already looking — for the light, the details that make this season of life so special. Then I guide you and your partner through the moments that matter most.

Capturing the moments you’ll want to hold onto, long after they stop reaching for your hand.
Building a family feels like it stretches on forever — and then, in a blink, the kids are grown, and you’re the one welcoming grandchildren home. What’s left of these years are the photographs on the wall. The albums pulled out at Christmas. The faces you almost forgot were once so small.
Investing in photography now can feel hard to justify — it’s just one more thing on the list. But years from now it’ll be the photograph in your hand that you remember.

YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER
HI, I’M JASSY!
I’m a Maine photographer and a mother, which means I know exactly how fast this goes.
I spend my days on things that run on their own schedule: a garden, a barn, a child who is never ready when we need to leave. None of it moves faster because I’d like it to. Your session works the same way — we go when your family goes, and the frames I want most tend to arrive in the part nobody planned.
Whether you just met your baby, you’re sending a senior off to college, or you’re somewhere in the middle of it, I’m here for the version of your family that’s true right now — not the one that’s easy to pose.
