The Maternity Experience

You’ve spent these last months tired in a way you didn’t expect, eager for a face you haven’t met yet, and excitedly nervous about it all. In the middle of all that waiting, it’s easy to forget to see yourself. My job isn’t just to document – it’s to make sure you see yourself the way everyone else sees you, beautiful and radiant, as you grow this new little life inside you.

Every session begins with a consultation call, where we get to know each other and talk through outfits, who’s attending, location, inspiration photos, and anything else on your mind. It takes the guesswork out of the prep, so you arrive comfortable.

Once we’ve found the right window, usually between 28 and 34 weeks, we’ll choose a setting that feels like you: your home, the golden light of a favorite field, or my cozy studio. I arrive already looking, for the light and for the details that make this season of life so special. Then I guide you and your partner through interactions that capture genuine emotion. All you have to do is be in the moment and enjoy the process. I’ll notice the rest!

Pricing

Maternity Session

This season of life is worth remembering for both you and your child. Sessions are relaxed and guided and always start with an in person run down of where to place hands, what to do. Then I search for the best light, snag some test shots, and our adventure begins.

Half session: $495
Full Session: $750
Maternity/Newborn Package: $1200 (includes keepsake album)

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Two of my favorite outfits for mama: Long flowy dress and jeans/light linen shirt.  Feel free to bring 2 outfits to add variety to the shoot.

Mom & Dads are encouraged to wear solid colors with no large logos or prints.

Between 28-34 weeks is best. I once photographed an expecting mama and 2 days later she let me know she had her baby. Lucky for us, we got to see each other twice that week 🙂

I have many gorgeous spots I can recommend but if you have a particular spot in mind, let’s chat and see if it’s a good fit. I always look for background colors and textures more than how beautiful the actual location is.

**New** I now also offer cozy studio maternity sessions as well!

Due to the unpredictability of births, I only take on a limited amount of maternity and newborn sessions each season. I recommend inquiring around your 20th week of pregnancy.

I love sharing the families I get to work with but completely understand if you want a private gallery. If there are only some photos you don’t want shared, ask me show you how to indicate that.

Lucky for you, this is always one of my first considerations when helping select a location.
